Getting started

Understanding your dashboard

Your ReadySOC dashboard gives you a real-time view of your SOC 2 readiness. Here's what everything means.

The readiness score

The percentage shown in the top-right corner of the app (and in the top stats row) is your overall readiness score. It's calculated as:

Readiness % = (Implemented controls) ÷ (Total applicable controls) × 100

Controls marked as Not Applicable are excluded from the calculation. A control set to In Progress does not count toward the score — only Implemented controls do.

Goal: Auditors generally want to see all applicable controls fully implemented before they begin their review. Aim for 100% before scheduling your audit.

The five stat cards

  • Total controls — All 21 controls across all 5 Trust Service Criteria.
  • Implemented — Controls fully in place with evidence to prove it.
  • In progress — Controls you're actively working on.
  • Not started — Controls not yet addressed. These are your gaps.
  • Readiness score — Your overall percentage, color-coded green/amber/red.

Readiness by criteria

The progress bars on the left side of the dashboard break down your readiness by Trust Service Criteria category — Common Criteria, Availability, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Privacy. This helps you see at a glance which areas need the most attention.

At-risk controls

The At-risk controls panel shows your Not Started controls — the ones that need the most attention. Click any control in this list to jump directly to its detail page where you can start working on it.

Recent activity

The activity feed on the right shows the latest actions taken in your workspace — who updated which controls, who uploaded evidence, and who joined the team. This is useful for managers who want to track progress without checking in manually.
